OVERVIEW
    The AT58612 capacitor testing system is applied to capacitor manufacturers, capacitor users, and capacitor detection measurement units, and can perform DV/DT testing. The method is to first charge the tested capacitor and measure the DV/DT value during the rapid discharge process of the capacitor. The signal voltage, frequency, and discharge resistance can be set as needed. The signal is applied to both ends of the tested capacitor, and the test cycle is set. The capacitor is continuously tested, and the temperature rise, capacity, and loss of the capacitor are continuously monitored and recorded during the test process. Finally, evaluate whether the capacitor meets the requirements based on the temperature rise, capacity, and loss changes of the capacitor. By using this method for detection, whether it is the characteristics of the material (polarization characteristics), or the differences in structural design (plate resistance) and losses, they can be intuitively reflected through the changes in temperature rise and capacity loss of the capacitor.
